Update to version 1.289

We will release version 1.289 on Monday the 12th of August on International and on Wednesday the 14th of August on the US. There will be a short downtime during the update. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this time.

In this update, we are implementing technical improvements, bug fixes, and adding content for future events. You can find highlights of these changes below.

Improvements

  • Performance
    • FOE-82465, FOE-83676, FOE-83691: We made several performance improvements to buildings, especially when it comes to setting the random production and using (mass) self aid kits. Especially cities with a lot of buildings will notice a significant improvement in loading time.
  • Buildings
    • FOE-83227: Some buildings could be aided without providing any benefit. All of those buildings can no longer be aided and we implemented mechanisms to prevent this for future buildings as well. List of adjusted buildings:
      • Tower of Conjunction - Lv. 1 & Tower of Conjunction - Lv. 2
      • Summerhold Manor - Lv. 1 to Summerhold Manor - Lv. 8
      • Laboratory of Monstrosities - Lv. 1
      • Skull Cave
      • Zheng's Golden Bell - Lv. 1
      • Himalayan Firs - Lv. 1 & Himalayan Firs - Lv. 2
      • Rhododendron Field - Lv. 1 & Rhododendron Field - Lv. 2
      • Flamingo Habitat - Lv. 1 to Flamingo Habitat - Lv. 4
      • Chocolatery - Lv. 1
    • FOE-83426: The production timer of limited buildings is reset when the building is expiring. This has been removed and the production will continue, similar to when you upgrade buildings.

Bugfixes

  • Icons
    • FOE-83532: The Thunderdrake Siegeshop Kits used wrong assets. They now display the Siegeshop and not another building.
    • FOE-83406: In the Event Pass, the lock symbol could hide the information for the boost potions. This is fixed now.
  • Internal Errors
    • FOE-83680: Official announcements could cause internal errors. This will no longer happen.
  • Tutorial
    • FOE-83839 The production times for early production buildings were never reverted to 5 minutes after the tutorial. This will now happen again.
  • Quantum Incursions
    • FOE-81937, FOE-83240: We fixed some issues with notifications. You would still receive them, even if a building was already deleted or the Quantum Incursion was over. This will no longer happen.
    • FOE-83561: The Tooltip for the search bar in the Incursion Ranking Tooltip mentioned players, even though you could only search for guilds. It has been adjusted.
    • FOE-82664: The Boost "Quantum Actions per Recharge Cycle" used the wrong asset. It now displays a small arrow up, indicating it is a boost and not a direct production of Action Points.
  • Text issues
    • FOE-83138:The text in the banner for productions collected was too long for some languages and missing a singular form for when you only collected a single reward. Both of these issues have been addressed.
    • FOE-83559: [FE/MO]Incorrect required/available order for credits in exploration sites.
  • Balancing
    • FOE-83759: The production of the Cider Garden in Space Age Titan was already changed in preparation for Space Age Space Hub. We reverted it and will change it again, once the age is released. We are aware, that this was interpreted as an unannounced change, however it was not intended for this change to be applied already with the last update.
  • Offers
    • FOE-83551: Some offers could be closed by clicking outside of the window, removing them completely without the option to take it. This is now fixed.

Mobile-only Changes

Keep in mind that the time the mobile update becomes available depends on the stores and can be some days after the release of the browser version. Don't be surprised if you don't see the update on your mobile devices at the exact same time.

  • FOE-83229: Picking a Forge Point production boosted by the Forgotten Temple could display different amounts when collecting. It now displays the correct amount.
