The fifth Quantum Incursions Championship starts December 19th on BETA!

For this chapter, we're adding new rewards and functional updates to make your gameplay smoother. Keep reading for details!

New Incursion path

We bid farewell to Obsidian Peaks, Tempest Spires, and Onyx Crater — Incursion paths available in the previous Championship.

In this one, a single Quantum Incursions path will be available to all players. We call it The Gauntlet! In the table below, find the Gauntlet maps for all currently available difficulties.

The Gauntlet, being the only available path, will offer Fragments of the new reward building and Fragments of Quantum Incursions Summer 2024 Epic Selection Kit that includes older QI buildings.

Championship specifics

New reward buildings

The familiar Checkmate Square has received the QI-style makeover, complete with powerful building effects!

Available in two levels, the Neo Checkmate Square building provides the following bonuses:

Reward distribution

We have adjusted node, End-of-Incursion Chest rewards, QI Leaderboard, and Quantum Pass to include the Neo Checkmate Square as a new Championship reward building.
Fragments for the Quantum Incursions Summer 2024 Epic Selection Kit are now available as node rewards across all node types and difficulties, so you can finish collecting older QI reward buildings without access to previous Incursions.
Consequently, Neo Winners' Plaza and Neo Botanical Rotunda have been removed from the Quantum Pass (are still available in the QI Summer 2024 Selection Kit). Neo King and Neo Queen have also been removed from the QI Leaderboard rewards.
We have adjusted the amount of Quantum Coins and Quantum Supplies you receive as node rewards, which in many instances meant increasing them.

As an example, here is how normal node rewards have changed on the second difficulty from Championship 4 to 5:

Special nodes

In three words: Garrisons are back! Many of you wanted to give Garrisons another try, and here they are, back in the Gauntlet for the 5th QI Championship!

As a reminder, Garrisons are special nodes that offer a bonus upon completion. Every difficulty has two such nodes in this Championship.

Once cleared, each Garrison provides a 50% Attack and Defense Boost for the Attacking and Defending Army for the current difficulty.

General adjustments

With every QI Championship, we continue expanding and improving the feature. With this release, we've implemented the following:

Node changes

The number of progress points required to clear a node now depends on the Guild size.

They influence the required progress points according to the following table:

In addition, we have also overhauled the enemy army selection on all nodes, to create more satisfying progression. Now, early difficulties should become more accessible, and the increase of the battle difficulty — smoother.

Reduced movement cost

You now need only 100 Quantum Actions to move to the next node compared to the former 500 Actions.
