Snowflakes dance once more over Forge of Empires, heralding the return of the Winter Event! The season of twinkling lights, frosty streets, and heartwarming rewards is here to fill your city with festive cheer!
This year, a beautifully refreshed Shuffle Board awaits — an event brimming with new Item Stores, dazzling prizes, and delightful surprises hidden behind every frosted window. Bundle up, follow the glow of lanterns, and uncover the magic waiting beneath the winter snow!

What's new this year?
- This year’s board has been polished and expanded — with 16 houses (two more than last year), clearer Grand Prize progress tracking, and a handy reset timer so you always know when a new board is coming.
- Houses now begin lit up and ready to visit, and once collected, they dim to show your progress — a simple, more natural way to play!
- Discover the new Item Stores, filled with valuable rewards and festive surprises!
The Shuffle Board
Visiting houses reveals rewards such as resources, fragments, or boosters. Keep an eye out for special rewards that can double your prizes, reveal hidden surprises, or start a new board. Some houses will also grant Winter Memories, which can unlock bonus prizes using Diamonds!
The Super Board
Collect all three Snowman Parts on the regular board to unlock the magical Super Board! This snow-dusted version is filled with extra Show Two, Double Payout, and Grand Prize Boost rewards — and unlike the normal board, there’s no shuffle to worry about!
The Super Board now also features a gentle falling snow animation, creating a truly magical winter atmosphere!

Winter Calendar & Leagues
Celebrate each day with a brand-new surprise in the Winter Calendar! Each day’s Key unlocks a special window packed with cozy prizes. If you miss a day, you can still collect Key Parts to unlock missed windows later.
Don’t forget to check the League, where your event progress earns you exclusive prizes and the admiration of your fellow Forgers!
Rival Challenges
Throughout the event, Baron Alaric Ironsoul will challenge you, offering powerful rewards and the seasonal event booster upon completion. Keep an eye out for his frosty invitations!
Item Stores
New for 2025, the Item Stores replace Daily Specials, giving you full control over what you earn! You’ll collect two currencies while playing: Lantern Tokens (from all boards) and Starlight Coins (from Super Boards and the Winter Memories).
Lantern Stall: Refreshes daily and includes Manual Refresh and Discount Roulette.
Starlight Lounge: Refreshes weekly, with no Manual Refresh and no Discount Roulette, offering one FREE item each week.
Both new stores feature clear confirmation pop-ups and notifications for free items or refreshes.
Grand Prize
The Midnight Clock Tower! A 7 level building which provides a defensive boost for your city and Guild Battleground armies, along with plenty of other bonuses! Use Silver or Gold upgrade kits to upgrade it to the Grand Midnight Clock Tower or Royal Midnight Clock Tower for even more winter sparkle!Meet your Historical Allies
