Care for Tomorrow returns with a familiar board, but a slightly different rhythm. Whether you are joining the event for the first time or coming back from last year, this guide will help you understand the new flow, plan your merges, and make the most of every reward!
Keys are no longer collected or spent, the Converter is gone, and Tasks now play a much bigger role in your progress. You’ll still spawn, unlock, and merge pieces — but this time, clever planning around Tasks, rainbow pieces, and your Streak Chest will be the key to greatest rewards!

The Care for Tomorrow Event will run on Beta from July 2 to July 23!

Your event board is filled with colourful pieces: some pieces are movable, while others are locked behind glass. To free a locked piece, you need to match it with a movable piece of the same colour and level.
Spawn Pieces
Use the Spawner to create a new movable piece on your board and note that spawning costs Workers. Spawned pieces appear in random colours and can be used to unlock locked pieces or merge with other movable pieces.
Unlock Locked Pieces
Match a movable piece with a locked piece of the same colour and level to break the glass. When you unlock a piece, you will receive: Grand Prize progress, an instant reward, and a progress toward completing the board.
Every unlocked piece brings you closer to clearing the board and moving on to the next one.
Merge to Level Up
You can also merge two movable pieces of the same colour and level. This creates a higher-level piece and can help you reach the matches you need as the board becomes more crowded.
That said, the basic rules are simple, but the strategy comes from choosing when to unlock, when to merge, and when to save space for later moves!
| Cell Multiplier: spawns additional pieces directly onto your board. Useful when you need more pieces to work with, but make sure you have enough space first!
| |
| Cell Divider: splits a higher-level piece into two pieces of the level below. If the original piece had a key half, both new pieces keep that key half. Useful when you need more merging options or want to create a specific level for a Task! | |
| Rainbow Essence: transforms all pieces of one colour into rainbow pieces. Since rainbow pieces can merge with any colour, this Booster can help you break out of difficult board states and set up important merges! |
Tasks are now one of the main ways to earn rewards and move through the event. You will always have three active Tasks: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
Completing Tasks grants rewards such as:
There is no daily limit to how many Tasks you can complete. When you complete a Task and claim its reward, a new Task from the same difficulty category will appear. Tasks remain active across boards, so advancing to a new board or resetting your current board does not replace them.
Completed Tasks must be claimed. If you do not claim them manually, unclaimed Task rewards will be collected automatically at daily reset, but it is better to claim them as you go so you can keep making progress.
Your Streak Chest can drop one tier if:
When this happens, the timer resets on the new lower-tier Chest (Bronze Chest does not display a timer and cannot drop below Bronze).
Before resetting a board, check your current Streak Chest tier. Resetting may be useful, but it can also lower your Chest by one tier if your streak is active.
In some cases, you may be given an option to preserve or restore your Streak Chest tier for an additional cost. Check the reset or restore window carefully so you know exactly what will happen before confirming.
To make completed Tasks easier to spot, Care for Tomorrow 2026 introduces a new blimp notification — thanks to your feedback!
When you complete a Task, a blimp will appear next to it and the claim button will become active. If you do not claim the reward immediately, the blimp will disappear after a short time and the claim button will begin to pulsate. This also applies to World Challenge Tasks, helping you spot completed objectives more easily.
Each day, the first Easy, Medium, and Hard Task you complete will grant bonus rewards. These daily double rewards increase:
Completing one Task of each difficulty early in the day is a strong way to build momentum and make the most of your daily bonuses.
Note: World Challenge progress is not doubled.
Not every Task will fit your current board and if you want to change an objective, you can reroll certain Tasks (Medium and Hard Tasks). Each gets one free reroll per day. Additional rerolls cost Workers, and the cost increases with each use up to a cap, but reroll costs also resets daily.
Rerolling a Task removes any progress you have already made on that Task. If you have started making progress, a confirmation prompt will appear before the reroll happens. Use rerolls when a Task does not fit your current strategy or would take too much effort compared to your other options.
Tasks are more varied this year and may ask you to complete different types of objectives, such as: transforming rainbow pieces, transforming specific levels of rainbow pieces, merging key halves, gaining Grand Prize progress, finishing Tasks, using Boosters, etc.
Check your active Tasks before making moves: a planned merge or Booster use can often help you complete a Task at the same time.
If your current board is not giving you the pieces you need, you can reset it and the first reset each day is free. Additional resets cost Workers, and the cost increases with each reset up to a cap (reset costs resets daily).
A confirmation window will appear before the reset happens, especially if resetting would affect your Streak Chest (resetting clears your current board and gives you a fresh layout).
So use resets when a board has become too crowded, when your available pieces no longer help your Tasks, or when a fresh board would give you a better route forward!
