What are Invoke and Summon?
Some heroes specialize in creating additional units, objects, or effects during battle. These abilities are divided into two types based on what they create.
Summon Usually creates a unit or obstacle. Summons can have their own ATK, DEF, HP, and abilities. They are
treated separately from the hero, aside from inheriting part of their stats, so bonuses applied directly to the hero do not affect them (for example, a Single DMG bonus does not increase Single DMG dealt by a Summon’s ability).

Invoke Usually creates an effect or object. Invokes can deal damage, heal, apply buffs or debuffs, or trigger other effects. They are
treated as part of the hero’s ability, so applicable bonuses also affect them (for example, an Area DMG bonus increases Area DMG dealt by an Invoke).

Invokes and Summons can also be boosted by Relics, such as the Nefertiti Bust (Invoke) and The Siren Vase (Summon).
To see whether a hero uses Invoke or Summon, open the hero list and select the
Ability tab on the right. The relevant tag appears above the ability description.
