About drop rates and chances (RNG)
Many rewards are decided by chance, and the odds are shown before you try.
What the drop rates meanA 5% chance means 5% on every attempt, not one reward in every 20 tries.
Each attempt is calculated on its own, so more attempts give you more chances rather than better ones.
Unlucky streaks happenChance doesn't spread results evenly. Ten attempts can bring nothing, and then three in a row can bring what you wanted.
A long run of bad luck is frustrating, but it's a normal part of how random outcomes work.
Pity and guaranteeSummons include pity and guarantee mechanics that protect you after an unlucky streak.
The pity bar shows how close you are to your next 5-star summon, and the guarantee comes into effect once you summon a non-promoted hero or relic, after which your next reward of that rarity is the promoted one.
