What are the event ranking and event leagues?

Event ranking is a way to win additional rewards in the event. You take part in the event leaderboard as soon as you have completed at least one full cycle around the board.
The event ranking can be accessed directly in the event window, through the ranking button:

In the example above, the player is placed in the Amateur league. This is because they have completed 5 cycles around the board, which is more than 3 required by the Amateur league, but less than 7 required for the Bronze league.

⚠ The number of complete board cycles required to be placed in a given league increases over the course of the event. As players make more and more progress, the required cycles will increase, so you can be relegated to a lower league if you don't keep up.
The Hobby league always requires just 1 cycle.

Depending on your league at the end of the event, you will receive the rewards assigned to the league you end up in.
