Chapter XXV - Settlement Buildings
Main Settlement Building
Vallorion's Throne
The Throne is this guest race Portal, and serves as the central hub of the settlement.
As usual, it acts as the settlement's warehouse, storing all chapter-specific resources while also managing the most important production chains.
The building has four upgrade levels, starting at a size of 9x4 and gradually expanding to 9x7 at its final stage. Like all Portals, it must be connected to the Main Hall by road.
Within the Throne, players can conduct three different examinations:
* Exam of Youth

* Exam of Adulthood

* Exam of Age

These productions consume the Experience resources generated by the settlement buildings, together with Finity Gear, and transform them into:
* Wisdom of YouthÂ

* Wisdom of Adults

* Wisdom of Age

These Wisdom resources are essential for progressing through the chapter's technologies and production chains.
The final Wisdom resource, Wisdom of Life, is obtained differently. Rather than being produced inside the Throne, it is awarded when a Level 3 settlement building is sold, making it one of the most strategic resources of the chapter.
Development Buildings

Chapter XXV introduces three settlement buildings, each representing a different stage of life:
* Kids' Playground
* Adult Development Center
* Elder Development Center
Unlike previous settlement buildings, these are expiring buildings. Each one remains active for only 9 days, creating a unique layer of planning and resource management.
Players must therefore place, upgrade, and collect their buildings efficiently before their lifespan expires.
How the Development System Works
Each building follows the same progression path, but produces resources specific to its age group.
The available productions change with every upgrade:
Level 1
The building can only produce Growth resources.
Level 2
The building unlocks Maturity productions while retaining access to Growth.
Level 3
The building unlocks the age-specific Experience resources:
* Childhood Experience
* Adults' Experience
* Elders' Experience
This means players cannot simply rush every building to its highest level. Depending on current needs, it may be more beneficial to keep some buildings at lower levels to maintain access to specific resources.
A Unique Building Mechanic
As these buildings are upgraded, their dimensions change.
However, unlike most settlement buildings introduced in previous chapters, they actually become smaller with each upgrade rather than larger.
This unusual mechanic provides additional flexibility when organizing the settlement layout and can make city management considerably easier during later stages of progression.
Selling Buildings and Wisdom of Life
Once a building has fulfilled its purpose, it can be sold in exchange for Prosperity

.
The amount of Prosperity received depends on the building's level, with higher-level buildings providing greater returns.
Selling a Level 3 building grants an additional reward: Wisdom of Life

.
Since Wisdom of Life is required for several technologies, players must carefully decide when to keep a building active for production and when to sell it to obtain this valuable resource.
